That's right, Mike. I'm a real agitator ... a bonafide enemy of the people, another Robespierre. But Rush Limbo or Ollie North spewing piss and vinegar three hours a day ... oh, that's different, right? It's OK for Republicans to bash nonstop, 24 hours a day, but when a Dem has the audacity to predict trouble ahead, that's different. Better get the SI Thought Police on my case one more time for that one.

I just have one question for you: What prompted the anti-Bush Byrd ad from the NAACP? Forget about whether you consider the ad to be fair, or even if you thought the ad was heinous. That's not the issue here. What undercurrent of African-American dissatisfaction in this country manifested itself in that ad? Why do so few blacks trust the Republican Party (about 3 or 4 in 100 voters voted for Bush-Cheney on Tuesday)? This is a serious issue that Bush will need to address, if elected. But you know what? He won't.
