TO: AXPL Shareholders--

This is a follow-up to my earlier post (May 16 I believe). Just as
I was ready to leave for the airport on Saturday morning, I received
a call from AXPL President Christian Murer). The gist of the conver-
sation follows: He told me that the information contained in their
latest press release had been approved by PEDCO's "field people."
Mr. Jackson then relayed the information to John Vaux who put it on
the net. However, PEDCO's senior management did not want some of the
information made public at this time, and thus the "clarification"
was issued to conform with their customer's wishes. So, it would
appear John Vaux was acting in good faith when he made the release.

As to the little "mud problem," he said that they were working on it
and it appeared it was clearing up, and they would likely have a
viable well when their efforts were completed in another 10-12 days.

I stressed that future press releases must be 100% accurate in light
of the oil industries scepticism of telluric survey technology and
recent resource stock scams a la BRE-X. He assurred me he understood
the implications for the stock price in light of the above and that
they have taken steps to insure a similar slip up does not re-occur.

Sorry to be so late with this information-- I've been out of town and
did not have access to a computer.

Regards,

Jeff
