50% of the people voted in this election.
Of that 50% - 25% voted for Gore - 25% voted for Bush

With the election this close, people should wait for the process to be completed.

Since the difference between the 2 in Florida is under 400, there should be a recount. The absentee ballots should be counted - and recounted if necessary.

If people aren't smart enough to figure out how to put the right mark next to the person they want to vote for, and they make a mistake doing it - tough! Pay attention! Learn how to do it right so the next time they have the opportunity to vote they'll know how to do it. No re-vote!

How many times in the last couple of years have we heard the phrase "the rule of law" - well, let the law rule. Let the law prevail. That's why we have laws. Florida's law says if the difference between the 2 is under 1%, then there's a recount. Let it happen. When the results come in from the recount and one or the other has more votes - then the other one should concede. It should be that simple.

Now lawsuits, no re-votes. Just recount the ballots and get on with it.

All this IMHO
