Neither one of them visited North or South Dakota.

So what if they don't go to the rural areas. Both of them came to the LA area (I think) but I never saw either one of them. The people that show up at those rallys are already supporters.

The idea of the electoral college was a good one back then when information was hard to come by. People in rural areas have as much access to information as those in urban areas.

The electoral college just doesn't make much sense anymore. In every other contest, it's the guy or gal that gets the most votes that wins. Why should the presidential contest be any different - times change.
