HiTech, I don't know. I have lived in Florida for nearly 30 years and I have known about many manual recounts. I am not aware of any lawsuits that challenged any of them -- at least they did not make my local paper. And also my experience is that almost none resulted in a change of the final decision -- because the recounts were on the total disputed vote and the additional votes resulting from recounts invariably match the distribution of the original vote. But this time is different, because the recount is limited in the counties where Gore has the overwhelming majority. Very unfair. Just like the PB county ballot. Kyros
