Does anyone think that this whole mess would not have happened had the media not first called Fl for Gore? Once they did so, with the returns showing Bush leading the state came under greater scrutiny. Then when called for Bush the scrutiny increased. Now every ballot is to be examined. ALSO - The question remains for me - what is the threshold for recounting the entire state, county, etc. There is a stated threshold - "significant" what are the parameters?????!!!!??? Why is no one offically telling us this?
