Jim, Unless you hand count the whole state, the hand count is meaningless... That isn't what Florida law says. The Republicans had the opportunity to request a hand count anywhere, and in fact seem to have cleverly avoided that in at least one county. What's happening is that ballot counters are now making judgement calls in some highly democratic precincts and a highly democratic county. As you well know, the count is being done by Dems and Republicans. Your whining is disingenuous. You know that Gore was probably cheated out of the first vote, and may well win now. Scumbria
