Statistically, it’s in Gore’s favor. Take 3-4 counties where the vote is heavily for Gore; apply a different vote counting technique that increases the number of counted votes compared with the technique applied to all other counties (including all the counties where Bush won by a substantial margin); and the expected result is a higher vote total for Gore in Florida, high enough to produce a Gore victory!!! Hooray for Gore! Hooray for the destruction of our American democracy! And congratulations to CNN and the other networks for making all this possible by calling Florida for Gore while the polls were still open in heavily Republican counties, lowering Bush’s Florida vote total by tens of thousands!
