LPS,

I agree with your assessment of the fight. Though I thought Lewis would win in 3 or 4, my opinion of the relative strengths of these guys was summed up in post #1151, in which I wrote, among other things:

"Each of Lewis' opponents, therefor, gets an inordinate amount of respect from boxing fans and the boxing press, who, prior to each fight, collectively seem to grossly overestimate the opponents ability to knock Lewis off the throne. Holyfield, Grant, Golota and event the White Buffalo were each hyped way beyond their respective abilities. Lewis beat them all with embarrassing ease, as he will beat Tua."

Tua, as it turns out, was overestimated and Lewis beat him with embarrassing ease, although not with the KO I thought would happen. Tua takes punishment well. That's about the best that could be said about him when up against the top echelon of heavyweights. It was a very poor showing by Tua and a boxing lesson given by Lewis, who, while far from exciting, was very effective.
