You forgot to add, capital preservation is utmost importance! Here is a little story that I have mention before, that my mentor told me years ago. It's about an investor who invest in this stock that he is sure going to be a winner. He buys it big time. It goes up for a few weeks, he's confident now. One day it drops, close to his purchase price, he adds. Every thing is find for a few days the stocks goes up goes down, it's trending, then one day it drops again. It's now cheaper then we he bought. He is thinking, "If I liked it before I should really like it now." So he buys. It drops more he buys more. He playing golf one day, he hears that it has dropped more, sadly he has a heart attach and dies on the course.

No one should have blind conviction. Have exist plan, stick to it and do not delude yourself in to believing it will come back. Many times they do not or they take years to do so.
