out of 4 precincts, selected by the Democrats, Gore gained 19 votes more than Bush over 4,500 total votes(they both gained). That's about what I expected statistically. Taken over the entire county that's about 1800 more possible votes for Gore (probably less than that because the precincts the sampled were heavy Gore). So the supervisor of elections, who's already been sued (and likely been intimidated), suggests a county wide hand count.
I don't think they can get this done in a week.
Now, if you are going to do that, the whole state should be hand counted. Then if you do that, all close states should be hand counted. Then if you do that, all states should be hand counted. Then if you do that you might as well completely revote the whole election.

This should take place about February and be organized by Jesse Jackson.
