Dear Mr. Palau: Well, it is my understanding (I watched Football most of the day so missed a lot) HEY AINT THOSE FLA TEAMS GREAT? haha, that the hand counting of the ballots for 1% of the votes cast resulted in a net pickup of 19 for Gore (33 gore 14 bush) now these were in THE MOST Democrat registered areas. Anyhow, as a result, it turns out Palm Beach County will now recount ALL 416,000 ballots. HOWEVER, for some technicality, BUSH is not allowed to have other areas of the state handcounted. When you consider the fiasco in the Panhandle caused by the Media, the fact that handcounting is being limited to Democrat majority registered areas, I am sorry but THIS IS NOT AT ALL a method to determine that all ballots are fairly counted, this is a method TO ATTEMPT TO OVERTURN THE ELECTION FOR GORE. I will never be convinced otherwise. JDN
