The republicans that are watching the recount should take about 5 minutes each per ballot to stall and allow the deadline to pass. Fair is fair. The dems are counting on using the repubs honesty and integrity against them. The repubs should take off the gloves and give them some of their own medicine.

If I were in the Senate, I would fillibuster any bill submitted by Gore, assuming he will steal this election, which seems likely.

If the dems were really concerned about allowing each vote to be counted, and if as they claim, this election should not be decided on a technicality, they would do the honorable thing and waive the 72-hour requirement(assuming that was possible) and allow a hand count of the entire state. If Bush loses that, so be it. Fair is fair.
