It seems that all on-line brokerages have some problems. In reading this thread, E-Trade gets the most criticism, with JBO not far behind. It also looks like Lombard has gone downhill since its sale. I notice that Shelly Poerio of Lomabard has also not responded on-line since the sale, which may indicate less interest in customer service. Datek and Ceres also seem to have their own set of problems.

I see very few comments on PCFN. Has anyone had experiences - good or bad. Or are the higher commission rates keeping people away. I have been with them for several months and have had good executions at my limit price both over internet and over phone. My problems have come when I talk to someone over the phone about something other than the immediate trade. My experiences with customer service have made me want to look elsewhere - but in looking elsewhere, I'm not sure I'm finding anything better.
