This is an interesting bit on news from CNN. Should Florida's electors be undecided by Dec18 when the electors vote,

"To prevent future Electoral College disputes, Congress passed the Electoral Count Act in 1877. The law left the task of choosing electors to the states, but Congress reserved the power to reject any electors vote if a simple majority of members in the U.S. House and Senate agreed that the vote must not be counted"

Translation, if the Republicans chose to, they can reject enough electors to give Bush the victory. I don't expect them to do that but it's just one more twist.
