a tactical error by Bush not to request a hand recount in EVERY county in FLorida Jim, I just hope they can still get one. That appears to be the only fair way to settle this mess. Any other solution will still leave a dark cloud. At least with a manual recount of the invalid ballots could speed things up and we could be out of this mess, even if it is completed a month from now. At least we will see the end in sight under such a resolution by Florida. Every other alternative looks very uncertain.
