stockcharts.com[L,A]WALLYYMY[PB50!B20][VC60][IUB14] poet, theres another trendline in play that makes me think the october 99 lows (or the gap of them) are calling like a siren song, the lower trendline of the very defined bull channel from 94 that the bubble blew out of comes in almost exactly where my two aformentioned support/trendline comes in. a lot of people are saying black monday, it usually doesn't happen when thats the case, but on the other hand when there is a lot of worry and handwringing at a bottom the posts on MDD and stock attack are usually at the top of the hot list, so the sentiment picture is mixed, p/c .83 and high vix, tell us we are getting to an area of a bottom, and mike holland on rukeyser had that constipated look that usually comes out near a bottom -g-, also biznew1.com has a call in show after their market wrap-up and on friday there was palpable fear in many of the caller's voices. so for me it's a toss up whether we completed wave 5 on friday or will hit my targets, i'm flat, i would like to see the targets hit, because i think after that we could have a sustainable trend develop and not all this zig zag stuff that drives everybody crazy.
