Will someone clarify the following to a foreigner
that is trying to understand the U.S. election system?
If the West Palm Beach results are not certified, does
that mean that the entire Florida electoral college vote
is thrown out, or is just the county vote total deleted
from the total state count?
Boy, I can accept going bankrupt by my stupid investing
mistakes, but not because of an absurd political game.
I've placed quite a few millions in Eximbank guaranteed
credits in Central America. The Eximbank insurance premium
has, obviously, a political as well as economic component.
What is mind-bogling is that in the eyes of the world the
US, long considered a country with no political risk,
now should find itself in this position. I see inflows
of foreign capital into the US substantially decreasing
as a result of this election.
