I thought we were in agreement that until all state vote totals have been made official, that the legislative bodies should back off.

The Constitution has a contingency plan in place until one candidate is qualified. The House can have Hastert serve as Acting Pres and the Senate(who knows who they'll pick) can appoint an Acting VP.

Hastert, as Speaker of the House, is more than qualified to serve in an Acting capacity.
