The election mess is the best of all possible outcomes. Whether the next president is Bush or Gore he will have absolutely no mandate and an opposition party sniping at his every effort. The president will be impotent the next four years. Congress is now more closely divided than ever so we will have the greatest degree of gridlock we have had in many decades. Almost as good as a Libertarian president and congress. When Wall Street figures this out..watch for a strong market rally.
