"Determining the Data Rate of a Received Signal"

Interestingly I did the same back in the early 80s.

Tough thing to patent without violating the rule that
it shouldn't be obvious to anyone with an education
in the field.

The "search and find" method is always a good reference,
something I'm still told to do when I've lost whatever
it was.

I especially liked the claim 1, 37 and 48, although
claim 1 could have been slightly broader by just claiming:

"Method for producing a second and a third signal of a
first signal, while recounting holes in Florida"

Great job and a lot of money to be earned by being
the one writing the magic, detailed text needed to
get any obvious patent through the person at the
patent office. (which of course has no practical
meaning, the court is the one which decides)

Ilmarinen.
