That projection that Bush may have lost as many as 10,000 votes in the panhandle is interesting. If true, I would be more open minded to the notion that Bush got more votes on election day, or intended votes. I wonder if that is a figure that reflects Bush votes lost, and not Gore offsetting votes as well. That and the county where 26,000 ballots were trashed.. we get back to a dead heat.. amazing really.

If the deadline is Tuesday evening Gore counters might not make it. Don't they need to feed ballots through a machine? If so, that limiting factor would shut them down.(only so many machines) They will be frantic..
a half million ballots is a lot of ballots. Curious how long it took them to count the 1 percent.. looks like almost all night.
