Re. Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell, since the
fumes of extreme partisanship seem to have
gone to your head, may I point out that Condoleeza Rice
holds an endowed professorship at Stanford University
and was Provost at Stanford (second most important
position at Stanford) for 6 years:

Her credentials should be compared to McGeorge Bundy's
who was ``only'' Dean at Harvard before become JFK's
and LBJ's National Security advisor.

Concerning Colin Powell, he ``only'' served as Chair
of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the only clear cut
US military victory of the last 50 years. His qualifications
are just the equal of George Marshall's.

If you are looking for a lightweight party hack who holds
her position only due to affirmative action considerations,
look no further than Jackboot Janet Reno.
