What is the differnce between Socialist and Communist?
My gut instinct on Wednesday of last week was that this election should be resolved quickly, even at the risk of Gore conceeding even though I felt he had a victory.
In the last week I have been reminded not of Bush so much as the Bush supporters. I have never seen a bunch so quick to call others liars, cheats, communists, and anything else that they think is hurtful. That's where I realized that Bush is so much defined by the people who carry his banner, even more so than he defines himself.
I am now of the opinion that Al Gore should fight for every recount and every court challenge, not to defeat Bush, but to show to the hatemongers, the potty mouths, the personal destroyers, .. that they are not tolerated in this great country, they are not listened to by freedom loving individuals, and they will not thrive in the land of liberty. BeGone!
