The Evidence Clearly Is That More Floridians Voted for Gore Than For Bush

No one can reasonably contest the fact that the 19,000 ballots in Palm Beach County that have been excluded because the voters voted for Buchanan and Gore (not Bush) were intended, by a very large percentage, for Gore. Elderly Jewish voters in that county were confused by the ballot. They would never have voted for Buchanan. Buchanan received a far greater percentage of votes in the most heavily Democratic county in Florida than in any other county in Florida by several hundred percent. It was obviously a mistake. If 90% of those ballots (19k + 3k voted for Buchanan) were put in the Gore column, Gore would lead the vote in Florida by some 19,500 votes. Of course, the Republicans response is "tough shit." "We don't care what the voters really wanted. We want our man. F**k those old peoples' votes. To bad." Typical of Republican attitude toward fraility. I remember too well how the homeless problem started in the Reagan administration. And I laugh at how the Republicans preach that they are entitled to a a tax cut now, when, in fact, the reason there shouldn't be one is because the people have to pay down the 4 trillion dollars in debt that Reagan ran up. Of course, the Republicans don't want to pay for the debt created by their party and their standard bearer. Just so long as individual Republicans line their pockets now, and make some later generation pay for their greed. Typical of their stewardship of this country. GET AS MUCH AS YOU CAN FOR YOURSELF NOW NOW AND THE HELL WITH EVERYBODY ELSE, INCLUDING OUR CHILDRREN AND OUR GRAND CHILDREN.
