Not always true, amigo .. and often not very true at all ... it's up to the individual what he does with himself, provided that he doesn't get beaten or starve to death under the bigotry in the meantime ... a friend and distant relation of mine was born in [i think] Oregon of mexicanos parents, he has done well with his life, better than the US average economically i expect, doesn't take shit from nobody, got a nice family, etc ... it helps i think that he detests cities, as do his people before him and i myself ... btw, we spoke two days ago, i got the impression that he likely voted for Dubya [didn't ask directly] in Texas ... it is from him that i developed an interest in this thread, actually.

"The liberals were 100 % in charge of these groups" ... i think he'd laugh at that statement, lol ... cheers

[edit] - one time i met an incredibly black lady who was working temporarily for or out of your embassy in el DF, she had worked her way up from some slum in New Jersey if i recall ... one of her party pieces was to do Robbie Burns in a thick scots burr, she was hilarious, bright lady, she had plans to study at U of Edinburgh, and likely has by now ... just goes to show i guess.
