I agree. So far I do not see clear leadership on either side (although both sides are quick to say how badly the other side is doing). Neither side has a clear mandate so major compromises will be necessary. Neither side should be putting out statements to the press - and just letting the local districts do what they feel is required. The current comments to the press from both sides are creating added hostility - rather than confidence in America - and the American economy.

I would be impressed to see at least one of these so-called leaders step up and point out what the two candidates have in common - at least with regards to the economy. And start putting some confidence back into the American system.

No matter how well you attempt to design an election system, a tie is possible within its level of accuracy. And that is what we have now.
