OT sort of: I've been reading t.a. stuff all day from Teresa Lo (intelligentspeculator.com). Will be taking her online class next week where she posts about 100 charts a day. Because of that, I was actually forced to read the stuff she emailed (all from her site) and I think I'm starting to understand it! There is no emotion involved, you just follow the trend, and you make sure the trend is in place before you do anything. Thus the t.a. does not predict, it sets up a few possibilities, and when you see one confirmed on volume, you can trade. She only trades futures and I know nothing about that. I think this takes some studious application but consider the fact that if you can trade up or down, you don't care if a market is bull or bear. I could imagine splitting myself that way: having some longterm plays (bull), and trading this way as well. We'll see. I'll report back to the porch after the class which is from this Wednesday till next Tuesday.
