I agree. This might be the one positive thing that comes from this mess. By the way, the comments you reference were in a post I clipped from another board and were not my own. I think you caught that, but I wanted to make sure.

By the way, in case anyone hasn't figured it out yet, it looks like Gore will win this thing. It's mainly the large cities (Gore territory) that have these fairly inaccurate punch card readers. The Bush camp probably knows that they won't make up as many votes from manual counts in the republican counties as Gore will pick up from manual counts in his territory.

Unfortunately this isn't looking good for Bush.
