and three presenters worked for government agencies, I have NO PROBLEM with government being involved in suicide prevention. I do have a problem with emphasizing one particular group of teens over another. Schools should not be places where ANY sexual preference should be advocated or discriminated against. Let's face it, while we can't stop teens from having sex (couldn't stop us, right?), neither should they deal with the issue in such a way that it conveys the message that it's alright to have sex while a teenager either. The best way to deal with the issue is to advise abstinence. It may not sound realistic, but it certainly is far more preferable than having our schools wallow in the social muck of human sexuality and all the paranoia and social agendas that all sides are pursuing.. In fact, maybe if more schools advocated abstinence, it would help in preventing more teen-age pregnancies and sexual diseases.
