Jim, <How long would it take you and you team to design a SMP chipset for Athlon???> Hard to say. Had we started from the AMD 750 chipset and told to derive the 760MP chipset from it, we could have gone from initial design to first tapeout in 9-12 months, then go from there to full production in another 9-12 months. And that's assuming no mid-project changes in the product requirements, and that the management of the project is handled very competently. Why do you ask? Tenchusatsu
