In a word, yes. You may think it's a smear, I consider it the most accurate description I've ever found. The party married the radical left in 1970 after they found they couldn't win with the old coalition anymore. Sold their souls to the devil for power-nothing new. It finally became transparent to everyone on impeachment, and it's written all over the Gore campaign today... But I suspect from your posts you do not know what a the term "Marxist-Lennist" describes. It doesn't imply a certain party membership or loyalty to a foreign power. It a mindset. A totalitarian attitude that power must be taken and held for the greater good even if the country id destroyed in the process. If you can find me a Democrat in the House or Senate who doesn't-at the very least-silently knuckle under to that "official" attitude, you've found something very rare...
