"But I don't understand why the Russians always wanted to put 2 large bottles of oil on the back of the tank. You know they were very vulnerable in a single bullet attack. Could you explain ?"

I know little about tank history, but you might find detailed information in a series of books published by Janes as in "Janes Aircrafts" etc. They have published extensively of the militaries of the world.

I have not lived nor worked nor had any business in Hong Kong since August 1999. So a few weeks ago I received a noticed from the Hong Kong tax collector stating that I had certain unpaid taxes due. So I am still awaiting a response to my reply to the tax collector:

"Dear Ms. Siu Suet xxxx,

This message is in regard to your letter to me dated October 12, 2000 file number 6B1-ZZxxxxxxx in which it is stated that a certain tax is unpaid. I must bring to your attention that I left Hong Kong in August, 1999 and have not been there since. Before I left I had a personal interview with the tax collector and I paid my taxes in full at that time. I have written documents from your office that I paid my tax in full. Please check the paperwork which should be in your files.

I can't understand why you think I owe more tax. There is no documentation in your letter as to where the tax came from? Also, no one signed your letter. There must be some mistake. Please resolve this issue. Thank you."

I will never travel to Hong Kong again!
