You forgot a few "not quite fair"s on the other side:

The hundreds or thousands turned away from the polls because their registrations had been lost. Anecdotal evidence says that these people were disproportionately black & Democratic.

The black voters intimidated from voting by sheriff checkpoints on the road.

The FBI is now investigating charges that voters in poor black districts in Miami were given ballots that were already marked for Bush and were thus invalid after being voted, unless they were voted for Bush.

And also, the 5% of the Palm Beach electorate confused into invalidating their ballots or voting for Buchanan.

I really have to wonder why the Republicans didn't call for recounts. I mean, a 300 vote lead is literally noise level, it's nothing you can cling to unless your opponent decides to roll over and play dead. Could it be that they knew they didn't have the votes to find?
