Yes, I agree, that is the result of the obfuscation we have had for the last eight years. After all, what does "vote" mean? First vote, second, machine, hand, selective counties, swinging doors, pregnant chads? I have no doubt that those who support Gore actually believe that this is all Bush's fault, that Gore won the election fair and square, and that eventually the votes will be counted in a way that reflects the "true" will of the people.
