This is all strictly politics with both sides fighting tooth and nail for what they think will give them the win. It is almost amusing that Bush signed into law a bill that allows for hand recount in Texas, yet calls the hand count unconstitutional. The courts will ultimately decide this, as they should, and the American people will accept the courts' decisions, as they should.
