Chung,

I tried to come up with a scenario that would result in $90 ASP, and it is hard to come up with one. Athlons would either have to drop in price a lot (something like $20 to $30 from $180 to $190 range last Q) or the unit volume of Athlons would have to be significantly below 3.5M. Since Athlon is one are where AMD claims they have very good demand, it's hard to reconcile the $90 ASP with this.

AMD should have a very good Q4, earning about $1 and the roadmap looks good until Q4 2001. Q4 2001 should be challenging if Intel can move significant percentage of production to .13u by then. But Q1 2002 should be fine, as AMD's .13u CPUs kick in.
