The funny thing is that Bush does n't like hand count in Florida and went to court despite he supported such a measure in his home state of Texus after he became Govurnor.
(This was discussed yesterday in ABC's evening news.)

All politicians lie and cheat and it is the degree of such actions are filtered in peoples view based on what mask they wear and how warped they are to begin with.

The interesting thing about US system is that the Constitution is a living document and that is why there were 27 Amendments. Of which 6 are for directly related to voting and are directed at addressing holes in the Constitution.

Only when crisis arise, as it is the case now, people are exposed to weaknesses in the Constitution and Laws, and gives an opportunity to get it righted. Order arises out of every chaos. I hope this chaos will create some more order and make the Constitution strong and moving forward.
It clearly exposes how outdated the current voting systems are and why a non-standard process leads to all sorts of confusions and irregularities.

To believe that Bush (and his cronies) are honest or better than Gore (and his cronies) or vice versa is equivalent to believing that Nixon did not lie nor did Clinton. Whoever comes he will have his face splattered with mud to begin with and since both the congress and senate have very thin margin, it will end up as the best cooperated four years or the worst four years, IMHO.
