I concur with your opinion on this. At one time it
was reported that a few thousand voters were not allowed
to vote, even though they had their voter cards, because
of some snafu where in their names were not on a registered
page. Having lived and voted in New York State for years,
where machines were used.... a curtain was drawn around
the voter, and after checking your votes you pulled a lever
I was most dismayed when I came to Florida to find these
damnable punch cards... which were in Sarasota County.
I voted Absentee this year.... and wonder now whether my
vote was even counted. Most discouraging.
