It's a difficult play. If it gaps lower after the Halt then covering quickly sometimes isn't viable.

One way may be to pre-plan a target Limit cover. That may work in such a situation.

Anyway, playing it one way or the other (gap down or gap up after a halt) is risky. I would say, if I had to guess, that a gap up after a halt is less likely as a rule.
