Perhaps in your mind Gore has lost, but in Florida this result is not certified. And while I don't think that Gore has won, neither do I think that Bush has won. It is quite premature given the current status of the situation there to be claiming that either of the major candidates has lost. Just as it is premature to be announcing either a winner, or worse yet for one of them to be claiming victory. (I'm sure you remember sad old Al Haig making a fool of himself by displaying his naked ambition and pitiful command of the Constitution.)
