Strike 1 against Bush- bad move to start with and I said so immediately after the fed action was filed. It was just a bad strategy.

Strike 2 comes in a few hours. There is a high degree of probability that the Florida state court will extend the deadline given that two statutes which exist on the Florida books conflict. Since absentee ballots can be counted up to Friday at 5pm, there is no compelling reason to certify the other cote prior to that. That's what I guess the state court judge will say. I believe he will either simply enjoin the secretary of state frpom certifying the state vote until all counties report or he may impose a 5pm Friday deadline. But, there is no way the 5pm Tuesday deadline will stick.

This, then leaves with the bush camp with having to ask for a re-count in other states. Although this is well within their right, it's not good PR. So far, Bush's legal camp has been outmaneuvered.
