Mike, First of all, we must wait for Sun to make this chip. Two, INTEL chips are optimized for JAVA and run JAVA the fastest at this point. INTEL is not going to relinquish this lead and just roll over. MSFT will ensure that its Java products run on the INTEL chip. The real question is what is SUN going to do? The most amusing thing is that the myth of "platform independence" with JAVA is being shattered - by SUN itself now. Interpreters, compilers, ah the nasty little world of VM. Brian
