If Bill Clinton were running his sins would likely be equally relevant. The real significance, however, of the GWB arrest record is that it undermines his claim that he in some way brings moral dignity to the office of the Presidency. In fact he is no better than Clinton in his using the very same excuses of not wanting to tell his family. There is no moral courage in that course. And that decision was not made 24 years ago. That decision was being made up until about two weeks ago.
