Fred, I can promise you that Scott is not being used to "deflect attention elsewhere." You need to understand the relative importance of this board to Novell. It is virtually zero. And frankly, that's as it should be. While I think Novell needs to do more to include customers in it's planning and strategy (and to be sure, it is trying harder to do this), I honestly don't think there is any value whatsoever in opening the kimono to a bunch of loudmouthed shareholders. Just because one can afford the $7 it takes to buy a share does NOT qualify them to offer any leadership to the company. That said, I am quite certain that Scott posts here only because he wants to and for no other real reason. Further, hardly anyone at Novell reads this board, and certainly even fewer people actually give a shit about what is said. To be incensed about that is only to fall victim to one's own overinflated ego. And again, frankly, that's as it should be. So, please, Fred. Stop attacking Scott. Stop blaming him for anything.
