Dear LofF: I am too busy to go back and read the over 400 posts since 11:00am or so this morning. Back on line after learning of the Miami Judge and these are what I am thinking:
1: Dont know if the Miami Judge ruled correctly or not but from a moral basis it cant possibly be fair. I really liked it when he asked the Bush attorneys, well, did you ASK for a hand count and they had to say NO. Thats going to lead into my next thoughts.
2: For 200 years Fla has had a Statute (law) on its books requiring counties to give the answer by a certain date. Gore doesnt like it cause he cant get his cheating done by then so he wants to CHANGE THE LAW to suit THIS election.
3: Gore argues Fla. also has a statute allowing a hand recount. Well, my question to him, NO DIFFERENT THEN THE MIAMI JUDGES QUESTION is DID YOU ASK FOR ONE IN TIME TO COMPLY WITH THE LAW??
4: It is my opinion now that his strategy is coming to light. He delayed asking for the handcount so that it would run PAST FRIDAY when he could get a handle on what the overseas ballots would show and have a final number to TARGET ON.

I must tell all of you, I had heard all the talk that this administration felt it was ABOVE THE LAW and has always found ways to circumvent it, Well guess what ITS TRUE and Gore is a PRIME EXAMPLE. If thats what the people want for a President SO BE IT but dont cry when the shit hits the fan. JDN
