Srexley: Many white Republicans are indeed right-wing racists. Not all. Not even a majority. But many are. I don't see how one could rebut such a statement. Just go through the past 2000 posts on this board and you see many examples of such. Some examples are overt, some are subtle. Obviously, you are not among that faction of the Republican Party, based on your posts, which are both intelligent and express concern for the "other half" of the country.

Of even greater concern to me is that the Republican Party is the party of Big Business. That is where the real damage will be done if D-Dubya-I is selected president by the courts (as opposed to selected by the American people). Not all legislation supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will impact heavily on the common American working man and working woman, but much of it will. Mark my word.
