v-OT-e - Hi Terry,

How do you like my new moniker for Election 2000-related off-topic posts?

The law (apparently) says they must have been "executed" by last Tuesday, even if they're not post-marked. I voted absentee this year, but returned my ballot to the county courthouse before election day, as I happened to be there at the time.

Seems to me that someone bent on beating the system would find it pretty easy to get a rogue ballot or two in after the fact. Historical returns of absentee ballots issued is low - I wonder if this year it will be dis-proportionally higher in Palm Beach county? Coming in from the ME, for example? Or in other areas where the ambassador is a democratic appointee?

Regards to all,

Aggie
