I agree with you. Things will only get tougher for AMD as Intel starts to ramp P4. Someone used the term "flood" the market; I tend to agree. AMD will give up the high-end retail/consumer desktop to Intel by mid year 2001, if not sooner. They are running out of market segments to challenge Intel on. I thought the Duron would give the Celeron a challenge, but judging by today's new Celeron announcement, I don't think so.
