The investors have already been squeezed. Crushed, actually.

Now it's Greenspan turn to feel the pain. And he will. He got us into this mess and he'll have a very difficult time getting us out of it. Between Mother Nature's predicted cold winter, rising oil prices from sharply increased demand, and limited refining capacity, Mr G will be fighting a losing battle that might lead to a possible recession. All this because he wanted to dampen down a couple of points of inflation. The beatification of Mister Greenspan will come to an ignominious end! And maybe early retirement from the balance of his current term.
